what could be called a sad attempt to appear different by bluntly mocking corporate design actually enforces the “microsoft sucks” vibe quite effectively. maybe it’s an optical illusion, but i see a red scribble over their logo too.

exactly. i would have been much more interested in getting rid of all the other shit, just having the message be “think outside the cube,” then completely change the message to something new that hasn’t been used, oh, 700 billion times.
then it would be perfect.
